I am passionate about yoga. An invite from a friend while on an overseas adventure in Key West in 1995 started this beautiful journey for me. I will forever be grateful. Not only could I manage back injury pain and have a fairly easy childbirth of my son, but I soon realised yoga did much more than strengthen and tone my body. My next step was a Hatha Yoga teachers training course at the wonderful ashram in Cape Town, Ananda Kutir in 2009. With roots in the Sivananda lineage, it offers a wonderful holistic approach to yoga. With over 10 year experience of teaching and running my own studio at some of the most beautiful venues in Cape Town, I am happy teaching mindful movement to all levels and sizes of classes. I also find meditation an important part of my practice and in making my life happy, and I enjoy running workshops and classes and passing on this knowledge and experience.
